Refugee Learning Nest is a refugee-led learning centre in Cisarua, Indonesia, creating safe and inclusive opportunities for refugee children and young people to learn, grow and connect.

Same Skies has supported Refugee Learning Nest since its establishment in 2015 through flexible funding, organisational development, mentoring and strategic support to strengthen refugee leadership and long-term sustainability.
What has changed
What began as a small community-based education project has grown into a trusted learning space serving children, young people and families—and has developed the leadership and systems needed to be managed by the refugee community itself.
