Rohingya Youth Union is a youth-led organisation in the refugee camps of Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, empowering Rohingya young people through education, leadership development, peace-building and advocacy.
What they are changing
They are creating opportunities for Rohingya youth to develop the skills, confidence and connections to become leaders and advocates for their communities, both in displacement and for the future of Rakhine State.
How Same Skies partners with them
Same Skies supports Rohingya Youth Union through mentoring, organisational development, peer learning and fiscal sponsorship, while connecting its leaders with other refugee-led organisations across the region.
What has changed
Rohingya Youth Union is strengthening its organisational capacity and expanding opportunities for young Rohingya to engage in leadership, peace-building, policy engagement and advocacy—including connecting with UN mechanisms.
