Same Skies supports Emplace through mentoring, governance support, and joint advocacy initiatives that create platforms for refugee youth leadership.

What has changed

Emplace has grown from a newly founded youth initiative into an emerging voice for refugee youth, including co-hosting the "Ignite Stage" during the 20th International Association for the Study of Forced Migration conference (IASFM20), which took place from January 21–23, 2025, in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and helping young refugee leaders bring their experiences and ideas into international conversations.
